I booked your transfer service for a short holiday in Alicante starting on 5th October 2011 and ending on 12th October.

On our arrival the service worked very well. We were met at Alicante Airport on our arrival there and taken directly to our hotel. I paid the taxi driver €72 as agreed and was told by him that we would be picked up again on the 12th. I wasn’t offered a receipt for this payment.

On the 12th, we waited for a taxi at the door of the hotel and in due course, the driver who had brought from the airport on the 5th arrived, but told us that he was there to pick up someone else. Shortly afterwards, another taxi arrived. I gave that driver my name and my destination and he loaded our luggage and brought us to the airport.

On arrival at the airport, I offered the driver a tip, but he demanded the full fare. I tried to explain to him that we had already paid, but he insisted on his fare. Eventually , to avoid any delay, I paid him the €17.95 he asked for and got a receipt from him, which I attach to this message.

I would appreciate a refund of this payment. I don’t believe I was responsible for the failure of the arrangement, and don’t feel that I should have to carry this extra cost.

I don't think I can in good faith recommend your service to others until this weakness in the arrangements is sorted out. ”
